Music
Our School Choir is one of our more active clubs, catering for children from 3rd to 6th class. They perform concerts throughout the year and provide the music for events such as Grandparents’ Day and School Graduation, while also singing at ceremonies for Communion and Confirmation. Such is their popularity; they have often sung for other schools and have in recent years performed in the RDS and Citywest as part of the Hallelujah Choir and in the National Stadium as part of The Big Sing.
In 2019, we embarked on a whole school production of the musical “Oliver!”. It was performed on four nights to over 1000 people and was a hit with audiences. It is our hope to produce another such musical in the future. In the meantime, keep an eye out for our regular Christmas plays and musicals and other performances throughout the year.
In April 2025, the school embarked on it’s 2nd major production in 6 years when it performed “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” to 1200 people over 4 nights. The musical showcased the talents of almost 100 pupils who took part as singers, dancers, actors and backstage crew.
